Yasar is a founding partner at Clarity Solicitors having established the firm in 2010.
As Managing Director, he is passionate about creating an environment which empowers teams to drive legal excellence whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care for all our clients. His collaborative approach working with partners and developing an extensive network of suppliers has successfully positioned Clarity Solicitors as a trusted and reliable name within the ever-changing personal injury market.
Yasar is a seasoned solicitor with over 20 years of experience in Personal Injury with a proven record of leadership. His entrepreneurial outlook was recognised very early on in his career when as a trainee solicitor he became involved in business development and managing marketing budgets. Within a short space of time as a newly qualified solicitor at a national practice, he was promoted to litigation team manager mentoring other lawyers.
After specialising in bulk litigation and commercial fraud matters, Yasar moved to manage the branch office of a Legal 500 law firm as lead solicitor: supervising a team of solicitors and paralegals providing support and guidance as well managing the marketing budget and compliance. Today, Yasar’s primary role is to develop business strategy and legal solutions to help our team of lawyers deliver outstanding client outcomes.
Matt Teakle
Head of Personal Injury and Solicitor
I am a Solicitor with over 20 years’ experience of specialising in personal injury claims. Since 2006 I have been working exclusively on behalf of injured parties across the whole breadth of injury claims, from road traffic accidents, accidents at work, public or other liability matters, and ranging from modest value matters up to the most serious of injuries and fatal accidents. I have extensive experience of assisting my clients through County Court and High Court trials, and an appeal to the Court of Appeal, with individual awards of compensation in excess of £2m. Prior to 2006, I worked in-house and with large Defendant firms, so I am well versed in their tactics and how to present claims to their maximum effect.
I head up the personal injury department where I supervise and mentor the team to ensure that we recover the best compensation awards possible and in a timely fashion. I am passionate about ensuring good communication between our lawyers and their clients to ensure that we understand and adapt our approach to each individual injured person so that we can achieve the best outcome for them. The team is focused on achieving the maximum amount of compensation possible, but we are flexible enough to tailor this approach so that we take our clients’ individual circumstances into account. Where our clients prefer us to negotiate a settlement, we seek to achieve this for them, but otherwise we will fairly, but robustly litigate matters to secure the best settlement.
Susan Healey
Head of Medical Negligence and Solicitor
I Started working for Clarity Solicitors in September 2022 where I am Head of Clinical Negligence. Prior to this I had worked in leading clinical negligence firms in London and the Northwest.
I initially trained as a nurse in Newcastle qualifying in 1994 and then went on to do a law degree at Liverpool in 1997. Since 2006, I have worked solely within clinical negligence and have a wealth of experience in all aspects of medical law. I have always found my previous nursing experience invaluable in the area of medical law.
During my legal career, I have gained extensive experience in cases involving orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, elderly care, cancer, still birth and nursing issues such as pressure sores.
